So ok here is the skinny:

I went to a random Metal Kross Productions show to support in Vancouver at the Heavy Metal Brewery. I had NO idea who the bands were, other then the names on the flyers. But - I wanted to see the Heavy Mental Brewery and whatnot - first time there.

So it was metal night and Desmodus played. What a wall of sound! Crazy! I got a kick out of the set - good energy and just this blanket of Marshall guitar tone in your face. What a face-melter! Never forgot that show!

Now I know who that ‘dude with the sick Marshall stack’ was…obviously not my favorite way to make a connection to people but here we are. Shanahans is a fun place - wanting to be a part of the celebration of life because it is clear he impacted a lot of people that will dearly miss him. Sorry for the loss to everyone and the metal-music community.
